Just learned that the Falcons have released Ray Edwards. Can't say that I'll miss him...
The thing that worries me most about playing the NY Giants is Jason Pierre-Paul, the giant of a man playing defensive end. JPP is an athletic beast at 6-5, 278 with a massive wingspan and great speed and instincts. He drives a massive pass rush and could keep Mattie-Ice on his ass all day. Every team needs a JPP. Ours was supposed to be Ray Edwards.
It just hasn't happened. When we first picked him up in 2010, he was injured and not up to his usual performance. But even after he was healthy, he was never the force he was hyped up to be. We need the most help in our pass rush and our ability to stop the run. We still do...
